Curious about my tools?

Clip Studio Paint

This software is used to create my art and keep my book pages together. Originally designed for comic book creation it serves me well for children book illustration.

It works with both Vector and Raster art file formats allowing me to create crisp clean art.

It’s professional Japanese software used in production by Japanese animation studio OLM Group, (Created the latest Pokemon Anime) Nippon Animation, (Attack On Titan anime) Signal.MD, (Pokemon movies, Cyborg 009) toy creators such as BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc and game creators such as CAPCOM CO., LTD, etc.

Affinity Publisher, Affinity Designer

This software is used for text formatting and extra page changes and formatting. This handles some things similar to how InDesign or other magazine/book layout software would.

Clip Studio Paint was built for Japanese comics and not text formatting hence I use a separate tool to handle that.

For more vector heavy work I use Affinity Designer a direct competitor to Adobe Illustrator. It’s easy to use and has constant free updates which is why I love it.
